Welcome to the Westside Rifle & Pistol Range NYC!

Having served the New York metropolitan area since 1964, Westside has evolved into a full service shooting range that caters to a variety of shooters.

Our members include hobbyists, hunters, and members of the law enforcement community.

In the City of New York one does not need a permit to shoot a .22 Caliber Rifle. At Westsiide we offer the opportunity for novices to experience the excitement of firing a .22 caliber rifle.

In NYC and the five boroughs, a civilian cannot shoot/use/rent a HANDGUN or PISTOL without having a NYC Handgun License issued by NYPD License Division.

NY State CCW Class (16 Hour)

NY 16hr Concealed Carry Course. All NY State Residents MUST complete the class in order to apply for a gun permit or renew a gun permit.

New Jersey Concealed Carry Class

Get a NJ CCW WITHOUT having to go back and forth to New Jersey!

Students MUST bring their NYC Pistol Permit, a firearm, ammo and a holster to participate.

Tactical Pistol Class

Taught by active duty law enforcement.

Level 1 is an entry to defensive pistol fundamentals. $150

Level 2 builds on the skills honed in Level I. $200

Low Light class develops the student’s ability to use a firearm defensively in low light conditions. $200

These courses are conducted in open space, not from a stall.

Requirements: pistol, strong side holster, and magazine holster, NYC handgun permit.

Build your tactical shotgun skills or Advanced handgun skills in one of our classes. Learn close quarter combat as well as handling multiple threats from a Police Instructor.

Bleed Strong Tactics & Firearms CCW Class

Level 1 Concealed Carry Course.

“You have your license and your gun, now what?”

This course begins with safety / basic aptitude accesment / situational awareness up to concealment and deployment under stress.

A strong side outside waistband or inside waistband holster is required as well as a magazine pouch and jacket or shirt for concealment.

Pepper Spray Defense Class

By special request we will be holding a pepper spray (OC) defense course conducted by experienced law enforcement professionals. The course will cover the proper use of OC spray and will supply one container of 7% NYC legal spray upon completion. All training will be conducted using inert training spray.

$100 per student.
