Background Actors Needed: Roles for “Stranger Things” Season 5

Casting Call: Casting TaylorMade (Casting™) is seeking background actors to portray military personnel for the upcoming season of “Stranger Things“. The show, known for its blend of supernatural mystery and 1980s nostalgia, revolves around a group of kids uncovering dark secrets in their small town.

“Stranger Things” is a popular Netflix series that combines supernatural horror with 1980s nostalgia. Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the show follows a group of kids as they encounter bizarre and terrifying events linked to a secret government experiment. Their search for a missing friend leads them to a mysterious girl with extraordinary abilities and reveals a parallel dimension known as the Upside Down.

Casting:

Casting TaylorMade is currently casting for Young Adults (18-30), General Adults (30+), and Hospitality Roles to film on 12/10 (Tuesday) or 12/11 (Wednesday). Selected applicants must attend a mandatory wardrobe and hair fitting between 12/2 and 12/10.

Role Information:

Rate: $150/12-hour day

Fitting Bump: $50

Haircut Bump: $20 (if applicable)

Dog Bump: $20 (if applicable)

Age: 18+

Gender: Any

Ethnicity: Any

Role Details:

Young Adults: Background roles for ages 18-30.

General Adults: Background roles for ages 30+.

Hospitality Roles: Looking for background actors with food/hospitality experience, ages 25-60. Possible roles include:

Banquet/Buffet Cooks & Servers

Casual Dining Bartenders, Hostesses, Servers, Wait Staff

Catering Staff

Coffee Shop Baristas

Diner Cooks & Servers

Dishwashers (any level)

Fast Food Crew Members

Fine Dining Bartenders, Maître d’s, Servers, Wait Staff

Line Cooks

Sushi Chefs

Takeout Counter Staff

Theater Concession Stand Workers

To work on ST5, you must be willing to receive a haircut/trim from the hair department during the fitting.
